RCI’s 2026 VT Voter Guide
RCI’s Political Action Team has evaluated every candidate for state-wide office and every candidate running to represent Rutland County in the VT Legislature (House and Senate) according to these criteria:
- Universal primary care
- Strong economy / affordable housing
- Environmental protections
- Quality public education
- Refusal to accept corporate campaign funding
- Immigration protections (particularly as they pertain to ICE, the Rule of Law, and Due Process)
Based on these criteria, the candidates we support are listed below, sorted by office. RCI’s members are encouraged to support these candidates by canvassing, phone banking, writing postcards, joining honk & waves, et al. While RCI does not donate funds to candidates, RCI’s members, as individuals, may donate to campaigns as they wish.
